SunSirs: Cambodia's Rubber Exports Increased 2.6% Year-on-year in the First Ten Months of 2024
November 21 2024 15:07:22     SunSirs (Selena)According to the latest report from the Cambodian Rubber Authority, Cambodia's rubber exports reached 291,269 tons in the first 10 months of 2024, an increase of 2.6% compared to the same period last year.
The report states that the country earned $472 million in revenue from rubber exports in the first 10 months, an increase of 22.5% compared to the same period last year; The average cost of exports is $1,621 per ton, which is about $264 higher than the same period last year.
The country mainly exports rubber to Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, and China.
As of now, Cambodia has a total of 407,172 hectares of rubber plantations, of which 320,184 hectares or 78.6% can be harvested.
