SunSirs: Ferrous Metal Prices All Fell in Late July 2024
August 06 2024 13:22:59     SunSirs (John)The latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on August 4th showed that in late July 2024, compared to mid July, the prices of ferrous metals have all fallen. The specific price changes were as follows:
The price of rebar (Φ 20mm, HRB400E) was 3,292.1 RMB/ton, a decrease of 173.4 RMB/ton or 5.0% compared to the previous period. The price of wire (Φ 8-10mm, HPB300) was 3,503.3 RMB/ton, a decrease of 158.3 RMB/ton or 4.3% from the previous period. The price of ordinary medium plate (20mm, Q235) was 3,554.9 RMB/ton, a decrease of 123.7 RMB/ton or 3.4% from the previous period. The price of hot-rolled ordinary coil (4.75-11.5mm, Q235) was 3,541.3 RMB/ton, a decrease of 135.3 RMB/ton or 3.7% from the previous period. The price of seamless steel tube (219 * 6, 20 #) was 4,390.8 RMB/ton, a decrease of 39.2 RMB/ton or 0.9% compared to the previous period. The price of angle steel (5 #) was 3,682.1 RMB/ton, a decrease of 94.3 RMB/ton or 2.5% compared to the previous period.
