According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the Shandong LPG market saw a slight increase last week (4.8-4.12). On April 8th, the average price of LPG in the civilian Shandong market was 4,826 RMB/ton, and on April 12th, the average price was 4898 RMB/ton, an increase of 1.49% during the cycle and a decrease of 0.04% compared to the same period last year.
Last week, the civilian market price of LPG in Shandong slightly increased. From a supply perspective, on-site supply remains stable, inventory pressure is not high, and goods flow is relatively smooth. From the demand side, civilian combustion is in the off-season, and chemical demand is increasing due to downstream equipment resuming work, driving up LPG prices.
In the future, the supply side remains stable, and the demand for civilian combustion is decreasing as temperatures continue to rise. According to the maintenance schedule of the PDH device, 5 sets of PDH were completed for maintenance in April. However, the current shutdown of PDH is still increasing, and the operating rate has dropped to around 50%. It is expected that LPG in the short term will shift from an upward trend to a downward trend.
