Last week (4.08-4.12), the domestic DME market operated steadily. According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the average price of DME in the Henan market on April 8th was 3,600 RMB/ton, and on April 12th it was 3,600 RMB/ton. There was no fluctuation during the cycle, and it decreased by 12.73% compared to the same period last year.
Last week, the domestic DME market remained stable with minor fluctuations, while the DME market in Henan remained temporarily stable. Downstream on-demand procurement, with a cold atmosphere and a strong wait-and-see atmosphere on site, has led to an increase in prices of related liquefied gas products. However, due to weak demand, the boost to DME is limited. Upstream production remains low due to slow downstream consumption and strong willingness of enterprises to purchase goods, resulting in weak production and sales in the DME industry.
According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the methanol market has been fluctuating and falling recently, with weak cost support.
Overall, the market has a poor mentality and a pessimistic atmosphere. In the context of weak production and sales, it is difficult for DME to improve in the near future. It is expected that the DME market will operate weakly in the short term.
