According to the monitoring of the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the price of eggs at the beginning of this week was 7.13 RMB/kg, and the price of eggs at the end of this week was 7.34 RMB/kg, with a price increase of 2.95%.
In terms of supply, as of the end of February this year, the national inventory of laying hens was 1.22 billion, a month on month increase of 0.66% and a year-on-year increase of 2.95%. There has been a slight decrease in the number of newly opened laying hens, while the pace of eliminating older chickens has changed slightly. The supply of Taobao chickens has remained stable and slightly decreased, while the supply of eggs has slightly decreased compared to before the holiday. Egg inventory has decreased, and egg consumption has slightly increased, accelerating domestic market sales/ P>
At present, there is sufficient supply of eggs. With the strengthening of egg prices, breeding has begun to make profits. Although the production is not large, there is relatively little elimination, and the proportion of laying hens is relatively high during the peak period. The pressure on egg supply still exists. However, as the temperature rises, the difficulty of egg storage increases, and consumption does not increase during holidays, making it difficult to obtain strong support for egg prices.
The egg market has sufficient supply and limited market transactions, and it is expected that egg prices will mainly fluctuate next week.
