On March 5th, the commodity price index (BPI) was 945 points, a decrease of 1 point from yesterday, a decrease of 29.64% from the highest point in the cycle of 1,343 points (2021-10-19), and an increase of 43.18% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016. (Note: The cycle refers to 2011-12-01 present)
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on March 5, 2024, there were a total of 57 commodities with a month on month increase in the list of commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (22 types in total) and the agricultural and sideline sector (9 types in total). Commodities with a price increase of more than 5% were mainly concentrated in the chemical sector; The top three products with the highest increase were trichloromethane (6.81%), lithium hydroxide (3.60%), and vitamin C (3.05%). There are a total of 56 commodities with a month on month decline, concentrated in chemical industry (24 in total) and steel (7 in total). The top three commodities with a decline are Maidong (-4.30%), titanium tetrachloride (-1.88%), and light soda ash (-1.83%). The average daily increase and decrease is 0.06%.
