According to the Commodity Analysis System of SunSirs, the spot market price of glass slightly increased last week. On Sunday, February 18th, the average price of glass was 22.27 RMB/square meter. Last Friday, the average price was 22.32 RMB/square meter, an increase of 0.22% during the week.

Last week, the spot market price of glass slightly increased. The overall industry production and sales situation in the market is average, with a significant increase in enterprise inventory during the Spring Festival period. The holiday has ended, and downstream factories have started construction one after another. Glass manufacturers have also sent letters to increase prices to promote stability. Additionally, due to weather conditions, road transportation was temporarily obstructed. Overall, the trading situation is average, with most companies having high inventory levels. From a regional perspective, the glass spot market in Shahe, North China is still in good condition, with flexible trading on the market and acceptable manufacturer shipments. The market trading situation in the East China region is average, and downstream demand for goods is high. The overall production and sales in Central China are average, but due to road transportation reasons, the market is relatively light. The production and sales situation of glass in South China is average, and the middle and downstream markets have just recovered, with a focus on restocking in demand. The production and sales of glass in the southwest region are average, and market prices are temporarily stable. The glass market in the northwest region is generally affected by weather, and logistics transportation is temporarily blocked. The market situation in the Northeast region is average, with a strong market focus.

The prices of soda ash in the central China region are consolidating, with the mainstream market price of light soda ash around 2,000-2,200 RMB/ton. The prices of soda ash in the eastern China region are consolidating, with the mainstream market price of light soda ash around 2,200-2,400 RMB/ton. Data shows that the operating rate of soda ash was around 89% last week, and the production of soda ash was around 710,000 tons last week. In terms of downstream demand, procurement is average, and enterprises tend to execute early orders. In terms of liquefied natural gas, according to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the domestic price of liquefied natural gas fell last week. As of February 22, the average price of liquefied natural gas in China was 3,612 RMB/ton, which is a decrease of 4.60% compared to the average price of 3,786 RMB/ton on February 18. The liquefied natural gas analyst from SunSirs believes that after a continuous decline in domestic liquefied natural gas prices, the market demand is expected to gradually recover after the Spring Festival. At present, market demand is weak and trading is flat, coupled with a decrease in raw gas prices. It is expected that the short-term domestic liquefied natural gas prices will mainly consolidate and operate within a narrow range.
