On April 9th, the commodity price index (BPI) was 936 points, an increase of 1 point from yesterday, a decrease of 30.31% from the highest point of 1,343 points in the cycle (2021-10-19), and an increase of 41.82% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016. (Note: The cycle refers to 2011-12-01 present)
According to the price monitoring of Business Society, on April 9, 2024, there were a total of 56 commodities with a month on month increase in the list of commodity prices, concentrated in the chemical sector (21 in total) and the rubber and plastic sector (8 in total). The top 3 commodities with a rise were polyacrylamide (3.00%), iron ore (Australia) (2.70%), and steel billets (1.83%). There are a total of 54 commodities with a month on month decline, concentrated in the chemical industry (19 in total) and agriculture and sidelines (12 in total), and commodities with a decline of more than 5% are mainly concentrated in the chemical industry sector; The top three products with a decline were meta phenylenediamine (-5.01%), neodymium oxide (-3.87%), and praseodymium neodymium oxide (-3.85%).
