On February 22nd, the commodity price index (BPI) was 948 points, unchanged from yesterday, a decrease of 29.41% from the highest point in the cycle of 1,343 points (2021-10-19), and an increase of 43.64% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016. (Note: The cycle refers to 2011-12-01 present)
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on February 22, 2024, there were a total of 49 commodities with a month on month increase in the list of commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (22 types in total) and the rubber and plastic sector (8 types in total). Commodities with a price increase of more than 5% were mainly concentrated in the chemical sector; The top three commodities with the highest increase were tetrachloroethylene (8.62%), crude benzene (6.86%), and silver (2.17%). There were a total of 52 products that experienced a month on month decline, concentrated in chemical (17 in total) and non-ferrous (12 in total). The top three products with the largest decline were eggs (-2.72%), neodymium oxide (-2.55%), and praseodymium oxide (-2.48%), respectively. The average daily increase and decrease is 0.04%.
