SunSirs : The Year-on-Year Growth of China's Iron Ore Raw Ore Production in 2023

1、 Production situation in the steel industry

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in December 2023, China produced 60.8709 million tons of pig iron, a year-on-year decrease of 11.8% and a month on month decrease of 6.1%; From January to December, a total of 87.1013 million tons of pig iron were produced, a year-on-year increase of 0.7%.

In December, China produced 67.4438 million tons of crude steel, a year-on-year decrease of 14.9% and a month on month decrease of 11.4%; From January to December, a total of 1019.0813 million tons of crude steel were produced, which remained unchanged from the same period last year.

In December, China produced 108.4947 million tons of steel, a year-on-year increase of 1.5% and a month on month decrease of 1.8%; From January to December, a total of 1362.6817 million tons of steel were produced, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%.

2、 National iron ore production situation

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in December 2023, China produced 860.332 million tons of raw iron ore, a year-on-year increase of 0.4% and a month on month increase of 0.5%; From January to December, a total of 990.5554 million tons of iron ore were produced, a year-on-year increase of 7.1%.
