SunSirs: The Refrigerant Prices Tended to Be Stronger (January 8-12)

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of January 12th, the average price of refrigerant R22 was 21,600.00 RMB/ton, which was unchanged from the beginning of the month and increased by 17.82% compared to the same period last year.

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of January 12th, the average price of refrigerant R134a was 28,500.00 RMB/ton, an increase of 3.01% from the beginning of the month and 16.33% from the same period last year.

Analysis review

This week, the overall prices of chloroform and hydrofluoric acid in China remained stable, and the overall cost of raw materials stabilized. The domestic R22 market prices continued to remain stable and move forward this week.

This week, the overall domestic price of hydrofluoric acid remained stable, supported by low inventory of enterprises with quota bottoming out. Some enterprises slightly increased the factory price of R134a, driving the domestic R134a price to be slightly stronger.

Market outlook

SunSirs’ refrigerant analysts believe that the quota plan had not yet been implemented, and the mentality of enterprises to support prices remained unchanged. In the short term, the prices of domestic refrigerants R22 and R134a will continue to remain strong.
