According to monitoring data from SunSirs, as of January 12, 2024, the domestic primary titanium sponge market price remained stable, with mainstream prices ranging from 52,000 to 55,000 RMB/ton, unchanged from last week.
Analysis review
The production capacity of titanium sponge enterprises throughout the entire process had been released, and the inventory had increased. The domestic supply of titanium sponge was sufficient. Among them, Liaoning had the largest increase in production, with a growth rate of 45%. As of January 12th, there was overcapacity in titanium sponge production, and the raw material end continued to rise, resulting in high costs. Downstream titanium material market demand was weak. However, as the end of the year approaching, the stocking sentiment had improved and the inventory had eased, but the signing price remained negotiable.
