Analysis review
The price decline in the domestic potassium sulfate market was relatively limited, and some regions had been affected by the lower price of raw material potassium chloride, resulting in a slight decline in market prices. As of December 22nd, the operating rate of the Mannheim potassium sulfate plant was maintained at 70%, and the shipment of potassium chloride was slow. There was still a certain demand for potassium sulfate, and most manufacturers can continue to ship until early January. The price of potassium sulfate was mostly market driven.
The domestic potassium fertilizer market had sufficient supply of goods, and the import volume of potassium chloride continued to increase. Port inventory was at a high level, and the supply of domestic production, especially cost goods, is limited. The operating rate of the potassium sulfate manufacturer's equipment was still maintained at a high level and normal shipments were underway.
