SunSirs: China LPG Market Continued to Decline Last Week

Last week (12.11-12.15), the Shandong LPG market slightly declined. According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the average price of LPG in the civilian Shandong market was 5,208 RMB/ton on December 1st, and 5,134 RMB/ton on December 15th, a decrease of 0.73% during the cycle and a decrease of 4.31% compared to the same period last year.
Last week, the civilian LPG market in Shandong continued its downward trend. The phased replenishment of the civilian market within the week is nearing its end, and the demand for chemical products remains stable. Propane, a related product, has weakened and the price difference with LPG is small, suppressing the demand for LPG. As of Friday, the mainstream price of LPG in the civilian market in Shandong is 5,100-5,150 RMB/ton.
In the future, the current market supply of goods needs to be further digested. The northern region is experiencing widespread snowfall, and transportation in the region is not smooth. At the same time, there is a concentration of goods at ports. It is expected that the Shandong LPG market will maintain a downward trend in the short term.
