On December 12th, the commodity price index (BPI) was 954 points, unchanged from yesterday, a decrease of 28.97% from the highest point in the cycle of 1,343 points (2021-10-19), and an increase of 44.55% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016. (Note: The cycle refers to 2011-12-01 present)
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on December 12, 2023, there were a total of 41 commodities with a month on month increase in the list of commodity prices, concentrated in the chemical sector (15 in total) and the agricultural and sideline sector (9 in total). The top 3 commodities with a rise were chlorinated paraffin (3.07%), heavy soda ash (1.39%), and maleic anhydride (1.39%). There are a total of 52 commodities with a month on month decline, concentrated in chemical (20 in total) and non-ferrous (9 in total), and commodities with a decline of more than 5% are mainly concentrated in the agricultural and sideline sectors; The top three products with a decline were DDGS (-5.91%), acetic acid (-4.35%), and ammonium chloride (-3.44%). The average daily increase and decrease is -0.11%.
