SunSirs: US Energy Information Agency: US Crude Oil Inventories Increased beyond Expectations Last Week
April 11 2024 15:17:48     SunSirs (Selena)According to foreign sources on April 10th, a report released by the US Energy Information Agency (EIA) on Wednesday showed that US crude oil, gasoline, and distillate inventories all increased last week.
As of the week ending April 5th, US crude oil inventories increased by 5.841 million barrels to 45,725.8 million barrels, with analysts estimating an increase of 2.4 million barrels. Gasoline inventories increased by 715,000 barrels to 2,285.31 million barrels, while analysts had previously estimated a decrease of approximately 1.3 million barrels. Distillate oil inventories, including diesel and heating oil, increased by 1.7 million barrels to 117.73 million barrels, with analysts predicting a decrease of 1.2 million barrels.
The crude oil processing volume of the refinery decreased by 115,000 barrels per day, and the capacity utilization rate decreased by 0.3 percentage points to 88.3%.
The net import volume of crude oil increased by 1.13 million barrels per day to 3.73 million barrels per day.
