According to the monitoring of the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the price of potassium sulfate with a 50% content at the beginning of this week was 3,500 RMB/ton, and the price of potassium sulfate with a 50% content at the end of this week was 3,516 RMB/ton, with a price increase of 0.48%.
Analysis review
Domestic potassium sulfate manufacturers were basically in a state of no inventory, and previous orders were still being shipped continuously. Long-term new orders were not smooth, and the sales pressure of manufacturers had slightly increased. As of December 8th, Mannheim potassium sulfate manufacturers nationwide had started operating their equipment at a high level, with a basic level of over 70%, and the overall supply had maintained a relatively sufficient level. As of December 8th, the ex factory price of 52% Mannheim potassium sulfate powder was between 3,600-3,800 RMB/ton, and the ex factory price of granular potassium sulfate was mostly between 3,600-3,700 RMB/ton. The actual transaction price was mainly negotiated.
The operating rate of downstream compound fertilizer factories was relatively low, and the main large compound fertilizer factories were still in production. The raw materials were mostly reserved in the early stage, and the procurement of new raw materials was not active. Most small and medium-sized compound fertilizer factories were still in a state of maintenance, and were mainly in a wait-and-see mode.
Market outlook
The transaction of potassium sulfate was still acceptable, and it is expected that the domestic potassium fertilizer market price will mainly fluctuate in a narrow range in the short term.
