According to the monitoring of the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the price of 50% potassium sulfate at the beginning of this month was 3,450 RMB/ton, while the price of 50% potassium sulfate at the end of this month was 3,433 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.48% in price.
Analysis review
The price of potassium sulfate in the northern market of China continued to be low. In the vicinity of the cost line, the Mannheim potassium sulfate manufacturer had a high operating rate and the supply was relatively sufficient. However, some factories had a certain amount of pending orders due to lower prices in the early stage. After the price increase, the transaction of new orders was slightly slow. As of October 30th, the factory price of 52% Mannheim powder potassium sulfate was mostly between 3,400-3,700 RMB/ton, and the actual transaction price was mainly negotiated.
The total supply of goods in the domestic potassium fertilizer market was relatively large and concentrated, all in the hands of large traders. The amount of goods circulating in the market was relatively limited, and most traders were reluctant to sell, so the market transaction volume was not large. Domestic manufacturers were producing normally, but recent shipments to various regions were relatively limited.
Market outlook
The domestic supply of potassium sulfate was sufficient, and transactions were slowing down. It is expected that the market price may be dominated by a weak and volatile trend.
