SunSirs: Ministry of Commerce: (October 16-22) Steel Prices Slightly Increased
October 27 2023 10:05:44According to the market operation monitoring system of the Ministry of Commerce, last week (October 16-22), the prices of edible agricultural products in the national market decreased by 0.5% compared to the previous week, and the prices of production materials in the market decreased by 0.2%.
Production materials market: Steel prices have slightly increased, with high-speed wire rod and thread steel rising by 0.5% and 0.4% per ton at 4131 RMB and 3913 RMB, respectively. Hot rolled strip steel is priced at 4109 RMB per ton, unchanged from the previous week. Coal prices remained stable and slightly decreased, with coking coal and No.2 smokeless lump coal costing 1354 RMB and 1375 RMB per ton, both unchanged from the previous week. Steam coal costs 874 RMB per ton, a decrease of 0.2%.
