Analysis review
This week, the atmosphere in the ECH market was weak, and corporate quotations were downward. Recently, the price of raw material glycerol had been stable, the market for raw material propylene had risen, and cost support was limited. The supply side capacity utilization rate was around 50%. The main downstream epoxy resin market was weaker, mainly consumed contracts and inventory. Downstream buying was mainly to follow up on bargains, and there was a lack of mentality among operators, and low-priced sources of goods increased.
Upstream propylene, according to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, on October 18th, the reference price for propylene was 7,238.25 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.45% compared to October 1st (7,270.75 RMB/ton), providing general support for the ECH market.
Downstream epoxy resin, according to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the reference price of epoxy resin on October 18th was 14,133.33 RMB/ton, a decrease of 6.81% compared to October 1st (15,166.67 RMB/ton), which lacked support for the ECH market.
