According to the monitoring of the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the egg price was 9.39 RMB/kg at the beginning of this week, and 9.16 RMB/kg at the end of this week. The price decreased by 2.45%, and the price increased by 24.42% compared to the same period last year.
Egg consumption lacks positive factors, and demand gradually cools down after the Double Festival. Food factories have poor stocking demand, and the retail market has slowed down egg sales. Egg purchases and sales are sluggish, and traders are cautious in purchasing. Downstream markets maintain low inventory, coupled with a sharp increase in egg supply pressure. Due to the gap between demand and demand, the pressure on egg supply in production areas has increased sharply, and the receiving performance of downstream markets has weakened. There is a certain inventory backlog in production areas.
In terms of egg supply, the newly launched laying hens this month were affected by a 13% month on month decrease in June's supplementary chicken seedlings, and the scale of newly launched laying hens decreased. Due to the decrease in the number of old chickens eliminated this month, coupled with an increase in the supply of large-sized eggs in the market, production capacity gradually rebounded, and some regions in the production area experienced pressure to accumulate inventory, resulting in a strong market buying sentiment during high prices.
Eggs are sold slowly and are cautious in all aspects. It is expected that egg prices may fluctuate weakly.
