After the holiday, the domestic acetone market showed weak performance and continued to decline, with the negotiated price of acetone in the East China market dropping to between 7,250-7,350 RMB/ton, exacerbating the bearish sentiment in the market. According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the national acetone market was trading at 7,850 RMB/ton on September 15th, but fell before and after the holiday. On September 28th, the market price was trading at 7,807 RMB/ton, and continued to decline after the holiday. On October 10th, the market was trading at 7,662 RMB/ton, and fell by 1.86% after the holiday.
Influencing factors:
The listing price for Sinopec East China was 7,500 RMB/ton, while the listing price for Sinopec North China was 7,700 RMB/ton. Upstream declined, traders were under pressure and eager to ship, while downstream market sentiment was low, with few actual orders and transactions, and the focus of negotiations continued to decline.
Market outlook
It is expected that the negotiated price of acetone in the East China market will be between 7,200 to 7,300 RMB/ton within the week.
