Sinopec North China Phenol Ketone Enterprise raised the price of acetone by 200 RMB/ton, with an execution rate of 7,500 RMB/ton. The market continued to push up, seller attitudes were positive and downstream entry was positive. According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the national acetone market increased from 6,887.5 RMB/ton on September 1st to 7,662.5 RMB/ton on September 13th, a cumulative decrease of 11.25%.
Analysis review
Factories had raised their listing prices in a centralized manner, and traders were pushing with a positive discussion atmosphere. In the short term, it is time to stock up before the National Day, and terminal demand was still good.
From an upstream perspective, the transaction price of pure benzene was between 8,850-8,950 RMB/ton, and the market continued to rise. In the middle and late September, downstream stocking is expected. The continued upward trend in the upstream provided support for the downstream industry chain market price, and in the short term, it continues to be upward mainly.
From a downstream perspective, the bisphenol A market continued to rise, the resources in the market was limited, the factory side made firm offers, intermediaries followed the market, and they did not sell at low prices. The mainstream domestic negotiation prices were at 11,950-12,000 RMB/ton. The MIBK market had seen a significant upward trend, with tight supply of goods, and negotiation prices were at 15,400 to 16,000 RMB/ton.
Market outlook
