According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the domestic corn starch price was weak last week. The average price of first grade corn starch consumed at the beginning of the week was 3,390.00 RMB/ton, and the average price on the weekend was 3,380.00 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.29% during the week.
Affected by the continuous entry of new season corn into the market and the expected high yield of corn in Northeast China, the domestic corn market prices have continued to operate weakly, and under the low cost system, the domestic corn starch market prices have also been under pressure this week.
Analysts from SunSirs's corn starch products believe that with lower costs and weaker downstream demand, the domestic corn starch market prices will continue to be under pressure and operate weakly in the short term.
