The average price of glass on September 18th at the beginning of the week was 23.49 RMB/square meter, and on September 22nd at the end of the week, it was 23.41 RMB/square meter. During the week, the price of glass slightly decreased by 0.34%.

Last week, the spot price of glass slightly decreased, and the overall industry production and sales situation in the market was average. From a regional perspective, the trading situation of the glass spot market in Shahe, North China is average, and the market spot prices are relatively flexible. Overall, inventory has slightly decreased. The market trading situation in the East China region is average, with flat spot transactions and a focus on wait-and-see, with a slight decline in inventory. The overall production and sales in central China are weak, and inventory has increased rapidly. The production and sales situation of glass in South China is still good, and the spot price of glass is mainly stable. Downstream procurement is just needed, and inventory has slightly decreased. In terms of soda ash, the price of soda ash has been running at a high level this week. According to the Commodity Analysis System of SunSirs, the average price of light soda ash in China last week was 3,090 RMB/ton. The operation of soda ash in the East China region is temporarily stable, and the mainstream market quotation for light soda ash is around 3,050-3,250 RMB/ton.
