According to the price monitoring data of SunSirs, as of September 15, 2023, the reference price of domestic n-propanol was 8,050 RMB/ton. Compared with September 10, 2023 (reference price of n-propanol was 8,116 RMB/ton), the price was reduced by 66 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.82%.

Analysis review

From the data monitoring chart of SunSirs, it can be seen that this week (9.10-9.15), the overall market situation of domestic n-propanol showed a fluctuating trend of first rising and then falling. At the beginning of the week, the supply and demand side of n-propanol in the field was relatively calm, and some suppliers in Shandong region raised the market price of n-propanol narrowly by around 50 RMB/ton. In the midweek stage, some factories and suppliers were actively shipping before holidays, lowering the shipping price of n-propanol by around 50-100 RMB/ton. As of September 15th, the domestic market price of n-propanol in Shandong region was referenced around 7,500-7,800 RMB/ton. The market for n-propanol in Nanjing was relatively stable, and the market price for n-propanol was around 9,000 RMB/ton. Distributors in different regions still had reservations about prices, and the difficulty in monitoring prices might lead to differences in specific negotiation situations. Each region also had differences, and the actual order price is mainly negotiated.

Market outlook

As of September 15th, the overall trading atmosphere in the n-propanol market was relatively average, with new orders being relatively cautious. Downstream demand continued to be mainly based on just on-demand procurement.
