The market price of potassium chloride on the cost side had fluctuated and increased, with good cost support. The downstream procurement atmosphere was good, and the transaction in the potassium carbonate market was acceptable. Manufacturers shipped according to orders, and the market had slightly increased. According to statistics from SunSirs, the mainstream factory quotation for industrial grade potassium carbonate in China this week was around 7,300-7,700 RMB/ton (for reference only), and the quotation varied depending on the procurement situation.

Recently, the prices of mainstream domestic potassium chloride of manufacturers fluctuated and increased: on September 15th, Shandong Xinkaisheng Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. sold potassium chloride at around 3,000 RMB/ton, and on September 15th, Zibo Dehe Chemical Co., Ltd. sold potassium chloride at around 3,100 RMB/ton. The prices of potassium chloride in Saltlake and Zangge had increased, and the market atmosphere was good. The downstream market of potassium chloride had slightly increased, and downstream demand had increased, with procurement mainly on demand. Analysts from SunSirs believe that domestic potassium chloride import prices may slightly increase in the short term.

Market outlook

Recently, the market price of domestic 60% white potassium chloride mostly was at 2,800 RMB/ton, and new sources of border trade were gradually opened up.
