According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the price of domestic corn starch slightly decreased last week. The average price of first grade corn starch consumed at the beginning of the week was 3,418.00 RMB/ton, and the average price over the weekend was 3,406.00 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.35% during the week.
In mid September, the domestic corn market prices rose and fell, and the raw material costs fell under the low-pressure system. Enterprises have successively lowered the starch factory prices, driving the domestic corn starch market prices to slightly decline.
Analysts from SunSirs's corn starch products believe that there is still some room for price decline in the domestic corn market in the short term. Under cost suppression, the domestic corn starch market price will continue to operate steadily, moderately, and weakly.
