According to the monitoring of the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the egg price was 11.36 RMB/kg at the beginning of this week, and 11.45 RMB/kg at the end of this week, with a price increase of 0.79% and a price increase of 7.21% compared to the same period last year.
The Mid Autumn Festival and National Day are approaching, and trade and stocking are strengthening. Spot prices are strong. In terms of consumption, household consumption, combined with group consumption and National Day and Mid Autumn Festival stocking, overall consumption is relatively strong. In terms of output, the egg production rate has recovered, and supply pressure is slowly increasing. Feed costs remain high, egg production costs remain high, and breeding profits have slightly rebounded.
In September, the number of laying hens increased slightly, but the growth rate was limited. At present, the production capacity has not yet reached its full capacity, and the supply and demand are still relatively balanced in the short term. With the expectation of the beginning of the school season and the Mid-Autumn Festival, the double stocking boosted, and the price of eggs continued to rise significantly.
As the weather cools down, the egg production rate of laying hens gradually returns to normal levels, and egg supply may increase. It is expected that egg prices will mainly fluctuate.
