According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the average price of PS at the beginning of this week was 9,366 RMB/ton, and the average price of PS at the weekend was 9,400 RMB/ton, with a price increase of 0.36% and a decrease of 13.36% compared to the same period last year.
Mainstream brand quotation without tax reference: Taiwan Taihua 5250 reports 9,820 RMB/ton, Ningbo Taihua 535N reports 8,870-8,880 RMB/ton, Shanghai SECCO 123P reports 8,950 RMB/ton, Thai Petrochemical 150 reports 8,750-8,800 RMB/ton, Guangzhou Petrochemical 525 reports 8,740 RMB/ton, and Hong Kong Petrochemical 1841H has a shortage of goods.
Styrene has fallen, and there is a strong atmosphere of observation on the market. Currently, the supply has decreased, which may have some support for prices. Merchants will follow suit. The mainstream price of GPPS (polyphenylene sulfide) in the East China market ranges from 9,000 to 9,700 RMB/ton, while the mainstream price of HIPS (polystyrene) ranges from 9,500 to 10,000 RMB/ton.
The supply of PS has decreased, and it is expected that the short-term domestic PS (polystyrene) market will mainly fluctuate in a narrow range.
