Analysis review
The domestic potassium sulfate market price had risen, and the supply of goods in the market continued to be tight. Most factories were in short supply, and the expected market demand might continue. As of August 18, the production of Mannheim potassium sulfate plants was still at a level of 60%. The manufacturer quoted the factory price for 50% powdered potassium sulfate mostly at 3,250-3,350 RMB/ton, and the factory price for 52% powdered potassium sulfate mostly 3,350-3,500 RMB/ton. The actual transaction was mainly based on negotiations.
In the continuous production of the autumn market, downstream composite fertilizer factories had a certain amount of raw material procurement in the early stage. As production progresses, some processing factories still needed a small amount of raw material supplementation. In the market's belief that potassium fertilizer had a high cost-effectiveness, some traders carried out a small amount of warehouse storage.
Market outlook
The domestic potassium fertilizer market prices were still in a slow upward trend, and the supply of goods in the market was tight. It is expected that the market prices will mainly show a slight upward trend.
