According to the monitoring of the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the average price of nitric acid on August 14th this week was 1,946 RMB/ton, and on August 18th it was 1,976 RMB/ton, with a price increase of 1.54%.
Analysis review
On August 14th, the price of concentrated nitric acid slightly increased, with some quotations stable and cost support. Focusing on market transactions, the market supply was narrow, and the inventory of acid factories was low. Maintenance companies were gradually resuming production, and demand had not shown any significant improvement. The market was operating under pressure.
From August 14th to August 18th, the upstream liquid ammonia price increased by 0.99%, the downstream aniline price remained stable, the TDI price increased by 0.71%, and the ammonium nitrate price increased by 12.43%. As of August 18th, the transaction volume in the nitric acid market was average, and the demand in industries such as pesticides and pickling had rebounded.
