On August 18th, the factory price of calcium carbide in the northwest region slightly increased, with an increase of 83.33 RMB/ton or 2.73% compared to August 17th, and a year-on-year decrease of 19.31%.
The price of raw material Shenmu semi-coke was around 1,000-1,100 RMB/ton, with prices consolidating at low levels, and cost support for calcium carbide was average. The downstream PVC market recently slightly increased, and downstream customers had increased their enthusiasm for purchasing calcium carbide.
