On August 15th, the main contract 2401 for BR futures fell slightly during the night trading, closing at 11,300 RMB/ton.
The international crude oil price weakened significantly overnight, with the WTI09 contract closing at $81.07 per barrel and settling at $80.99 per barrel; The Brent 10 contract closed at $85.04 per barrel and settled at $84.89 per barrel.
The price stage of raw material butadiene is at a high level, and the cost support for BR is strong; On August 15th, the factory price of BR temporarily stabilized, and the market offer was slightly adjusted, while downstream inquiries were average. It is expected that the market price of BR will fluctuate in a narrow range on August 16.
