SunSirs: China NBR Market fluctuates slightly

The NBR market fluctuated slightly this week (7.28-8.4). According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of August 4th, the price of NBR was 13,825 RMB/ton, a slight increase of 0.18% from last Friday's 13,800 RMB/ton. The prices of raw materials such as butadiene and acrylonitrile have risen, and the cost center of NBR has slightly shifted upwards; Downstream demand continues to be weak, and market transactions remain relatively flat. This week, the factory price of Lanhua NBR slightly increased by 100 RMB/ton, while the factory prices of NBR such as Shunze and Nandi remained stable. As of August 4th, the mainstream market report for Lanhua Nitrile 3305 in East China is 13,200-13,400 RMB/ton; The mainstream price of Nandi Nitrile 1052 is 15,300-15,500 RMB/ton; The mainstream price of Sibul nitrile 3365 is 12,300-12,500 RMB/ton; Shunze nitrile 3355 mainstream reported at 13,700-14,000 RMB/ton.

Last week (7.28-8.4), the prices of raw materials butadiene and acrylonitrile slightly increased, while the cost of NBR slightly increased compared to the previous period. According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of August 4th, the price of butadiene was 7,376 RMB/ton, an increase of 2.43% from last Friday's 7,201 RMB/ton; As of August 4th, the price of acrylonitrile has increased by 4.05% from last Friday's 8,025 RMB/ton at 8,350 RMB/ton.

As of August 4th, the construction of domestic NBR plants has been temporarily stable, and the enterprise's later maintenance and restart coexist.

SunSirs nitrile analysts believe that the current supply of NBR has slightly increased, coupled with average downstream inquiries, and it is expected that the NBR market will continue to be weak and consolidation in the short term.
