According to the price monitoring data of SunSirs, as of July 25, 2023, the reference price of domestic n-propanol was 7,566 RMB/ton. Compared with July 1, 2023 (reference price of n-propanol was 7,833 RMB/ton), the price decreased by 267 RMB/ton, a decrease of 3.40%.

Analysis review

From the data monitoring chart of SunSirs, it can be seen that since July (7.1-7.25), the overall market situation of n-propanol in China showed a weakly declining trend. In early July, the domestic n-propanol market remained stable and consolidated overall, with relatively calm news on the market. In mid July, the overall market situation slightly declined. On the 10th, some suppliers in Shandong adjusted their prices narrowly based on their own inventory and shipping situation, with an adjustment range of around 100-200 RMB/ton. In late July, the overall focus of the n-propanol market was once again moving downwards. A large factory and some suppliers in Shandong lowered the price of n-propanol by around 200 to 400 RMB/ton, driving the overall market trend to decline and widening the price difference between high and low prices on the market. As of July 25th, the market price of n-propanol in Shandong region was around 6,700-7,600 RMB/ton. The market for n-propanol in Nanjing was relatively stable. Distributors in different regions still had reservations about prices, and the difficulty in monitoring prices might lead to differences in specific negotiation situations.
