According to the bulk list data of SunSirs, the domestic PC market has continued to rise recently, with overall spot prices of various brands rising. As of July 14th, the reference quotation for the PC sample enterprises of SunSirs is around 15,500 RMB/ton, with an increase or decrease of +3.91% compared to the beginning of the month.

In terms of raw materials, the market for bisphenol A has continued to rise recently. The price of raw material phenol/acetone still supports the cost of bisphenol A. After preliminary bidding, the current spot quantity is limited, and the holders have a good intention of bidding. It is recommended to pay attention to the recent transaction situation, and it is expected that bisphenol A will continue to operate steadily.

In terms of supply: Last week, the overall operating rate of domestic PC increased to over 70%, and the industry load gradually returned to a three-year high. The on-site supply is gradually becoming abundant, and companies are pricing their factory prices cautiously. After the increase, there is a slight correction, which limited support for spot prices.

In terms of demand: Recently, downstream PC buyers have just needed to maintain production, and the wait-and-see mentality of the industry is gradually increasing. Auction prices continue to rise, with transaction prices generally rising by over 300 RMB/ton. The current operating position of terminal enterprises is maintained, and the actual stock situation is limited. The main force of on-site trading is biased towards midstream traders.

Last week, the trend of PC market recovery slowed down. The upstream bisphenol A market continues to rise, providing better support for PC costs. The load of domestic polymerization plants is increasing, and supply is gradually abundant. Midstream traders followed up, but the consumption improvement of downstream enterprises was not significant. PC supply may rebound in the near future, and the market is expected to enter consolidation.
