On June 4, the commodity price index (BPI) stood at 911 points, unchanged from yesterday, a 32.17% decrease from the cycle's highest point of 1343 points (2021-10-19), and a 38.03% increase from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016. (Note: The cycle refers to the period from December 1st, 2011 to the present)
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, in the 22nd week of 2023 (5.29-6.2), there were a total of 18 commodities in the chemical sector that showed a month on month increase in commodity prices. Among them, there were 3 commodities that increased by more than 5%, accounting for 2.7% of the monitored commodities in this sector; The top three rising commodities were coal tar (high temperature) (10.42%), lithium hydroxide (6.97%) and phosphoric acid (6.40%). There are 58 products that have decreased compared to the previous month, and 11 products that have decreased by more than 5%, accounting for 9.8% of the monitored products in this sector; The top three products with a decline were heavy soda ash (-14.46%), acetone (-11.87%), and bromine (-11.59%). Last week's average rise and fall was -1.26%.
