According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of May 31, the price of bulk chloroform in Shandong Province was 2,275 RMB/ton, a slight decrease of 3.19% from 2,350 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month, and the low point during the cycle was 2,075 RMB/ton.

The price of raw material methanol had significantly declined, and the cost of chloroform declined; The peak season of downstream refrigerant R22 was gradually coming to an end, and the demand had insufficient support for chloroform; Methane chloride production fluctuated slightly, while the supply of chloroform was generally loose; In the first half of the month, demand weakened and prices declined. In the second half, prices rebounded due to the tight regional supply, but the overall industrial chain remained weak.
