SunSirs: PTA's Current Industry Operating Rate has Decreased

On May 29th, the PTA benchmark price of SunSirs was 5590.91 RMB/ton, a decrease of -9.53% compared to the beginning of this month (6180.00 RMB/ton).
In May, domestic PTA maintenance devices were still concentrated, and the industry's operating rate has been lowered to below 75%. Supply is expected to shrink, and the overall speed of destocking has accelerated in the near future.
The crude oil market has undergone fluctuations and adjustments, with an increase in PTA's own maintenance equipment, downstream polyester profit restoration, and the existence of rigid demand support under increased production and capacity expansion. In the short term, PTA supply has decreased and demand has increased, resulting in a decrease in inventory accumulation, providing positive support for PTA prices.
