SunSirs: MTBE Weekly Market Report (5.8-5.12)
May 15 2023 14:22:11On May 15th, the benchmark MTBE price of SunSirs was 7350.00 RMB/ton, a decrease of -1.84% compared to the beginning of this month (7487.50 RMB/ton).
According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the domestic MTBE market has declined in a narrow range. From May 8th to 12th, the price of MTBE dropped from 7500 RMB/ton to 7350 RMB/ton, with a price drop of 2.00% during the cycle, a month on month decrease of 3.70%, and a year-on-year decrease of 0.68%.
After the May Day holiday, international crude oil prices have fallen broadly. Although multiple MTBE units have been shut down for maintenance and resource supply has decreased, demand is sluggish and the decline in the MTBE market has intensified.
