According to the monitoring of the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the price of potassium sulfate with a 50% content at the beginning of this week was 3,700 RMB/ton, and the price of potassium sulfate with a 50% content at the end of this week was 3,683 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.45% in price.
Analysis review
The domestic market price of potassium sulfate followed the downward trend of the price of potassium chloride. The sales resistance of potassium sulfate increased, coupled with the recent tightening of potassium fertilizer exports, which had shifted to domestic sales. The operating rate of the Mannheim potassium sulfate manufacturer's equipment remained around 50%. On the 12th, the factory price of 50% powder Mannheim potassium sulfate was mostly between 3,200-3,300 RMB/ton, and the factory price of 52% powder potassium sulfate was mostly between 3,380-3,600 RMB/ton.
The sales volume of downstream compound fertilizer factories had slightly improved compared to the previous period. The production of factories mainly focused on high nitrogen fertilizers, while the production of potassium containing compound fertilizers was limited. Therefore, the demand for potassium fertilizer from various manufacturers was not sufficient, and they mainly purchased according to demand.
Market outlook
The domestic potash fertilizer market price is still in a state of slow decline, and the market transactions are light. It is expected that the market price will be dominated by weak consolidation trend.
