The price of silica market was stable this week, with the mainstream price of about 6,000 RMB/ton. The focus of the negotiation was stable, downstream procurement was mainly based on demand, the enthusiasm for stocking was average, and new orders was limited. The latest quotation for silica: Shandong Haideng New Materials Co., Ltd. quoted at 5,800 RMB/ton, Jinan Xinhou Trading Co., Ltd. quoted at 5,500 RMB/ton, and Jinan Century Lianxing Economic and Trade Co., Ltd. quoted at 6,000 RMB/ton.
Chemical Index: On April 24th, the commodity price index (BPI) was 975 points, a decrease of 1 point compared to the previous day, a decrease of 27.40% compared to the highest point of 1,343 points (2021-10-19) in the cycle, and an increase of 47.73% compared to the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016. (Note: The cycle refers to the period from December 1st, 2011 to the present).
