Analysis points: On April 19th, the domestic liquid ammonia market continued its decline this week. According to monitoring by SunSirs, the daily decline in the main production area of Shandong was 2.63%. Yesterday, the factory price of a large factory in Shandong was lowered by 300 RMB/ton. Today, the prices of major manufacturers have still been lowered, mostly by around a hundred RMB. On the one hand, the decline in coal and natural gas raw materials has negatively impacted the ammonia market in terms of cost. In addition, there is significant supply pressure, with manufacturers slowing down their shipments and increasing inventory pressure. Overlapping imported sources of goods has impacted the domestic market. In addition, downstream products such as urea and ammonium chloride lack sufficient support, maintaining a weak trend. At present, the mainstream quotation in Shandong region is between 2900-3100 RMB/ton.
Future forecast: It is expected that the supply-demand contradiction will be difficult to resolve in the near future, and there is still room for a downward trend in the price of liquid ammonia.
