According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of April 7th, the average price of refrigerant R134a was 25,500.00 yuan/ton, which was unchanged from the beginning of the month and increased by 2.68% compared to the same period last year.

Analysis review

In April, as of April 7th, the price of chloroform decreased by 5.14% during the month, while the price of hydrofluoric acid increased by 5.69%. The overall high prices of upstream raw materials were mixed, fluctuated and stabilized, and the overall price of refrigerant R22 remained stable.

In April, as of April 7th, the price of trichloroethylene remained low, while the price of hydrofluoric acid increased by 5.69%. The overall cost of raw materials showed an increasing trend, which will provide some support for the future price of R134a.

Market outlook

The cost of R22 upstream raw materials has increased and decreased in an overall way. In addition, the price of R22 has increased significantly compared with that of last year. The overall downstream procurement is more cautious. The R22 market price will continue to stay stable at the current level in the short term under the support of stable cost shocks and unabated downstream rigid demand.
