According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of April 7th, the average price of industrial grade lithium hydroxide from domestic lithium hydroxide enterprises was 32,3750.00 RMB/ton, a decrease of 11.90% compared to Monday's price.
Analysis review
The domestic industrial grade lithium hydroxide market was sluggish this week. The recent decline in the upstream lithium carbonate market continued, with poor support for the lithium hydroxide market. Supply side enterprises mainly focused on normal production, while demand of overseas markets on the demand side slightly rebounded. However, domestic market demand remained weak, the transaction volume in the spot market was limited, and the mentality of the industry was insufficient, leading to a weakening negotiations focus in lithium hydroxide.
As for upstream lithium carbonate, according to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the market price of industrial and battery grade lithium carbonate had fallen recently. On April 6, the reference price of lithium carbonate industrial grade was 200,000.00, down 10.95% compared with April 1 (224,600.00).
