On March 27, the benchmark price of magnesium in Sunsirs was 20333.33 RMB/ton, which was -4.98% lower than that at the beginning of this month (21400.00 RMB/ton).
The price of magnesium ingot continued to fall in the first three days of this week, and mainstream factories began to stabilize on Thursday and Friday. The quotations in the main producing areas are stable at 20,000-20,400 RMB/ton. The market lacks good news, demand feedback is not ideal, and the contradiction between supply and demand in the magnesium ingot market is still relatively sharp. Considering that some factories have reduced and shut down production, the decline rate of magnesium ingots may be narrowed, and it is expected that the short-term magnesium market may be weak and stable.
