Analysis review
This week, the market for ECH rose first and then stabilized. Recently, the price of raw material propylene had fluctuated and sorted out. The price of raw material glycerol was mainly stable, and the cost side pressure remained. The industry's capacity utilization rate was generally stable compared to the previous period. At the beginning of the week, some downstream restocking was carried out, coupled with the impact of news of shutdown plans for some devices, the market price had been driven up. However, the actual purchase gas at downstream terminals was not good, and the price of ECH stabilized after rising.
According to monitoring data from SunSirs, the price of propylene in Shandong Province had recently fluctuated and adjusted. On March 16, the reference price of propylene was 7,386.60 RMB/ton, a decrease of 1.81% compared to that of March 1 (7,522.60 RMB/ton).
For downstream epoxy resin, the reference price of epoxy resin on March 16 was 14,900.00 RMB/ton, a decrease of 1.32% compared to that of March 1 (15,100.00 RMB/ton).
Market outlook
