SunSirs: PTA Market Weekly Report (3.6-3.13)

On March 13, Sunsir’s PTA benchmark price was 5,868.00 RMB/ton, an increase of 4.84% compared with the beginning of this month (5,597.27 RMB/ton).
Starting from the 13th, some PTA plants plan to increase the load, and the new production capacity of 2.5 million tons of PTA in Guangdong may be tested. At the same time, the downstream market is still facing insufficient demand and uncertain prospects for foreign trade. SunSirs analysts believe that the PTA market price may become weaker due to volatility
