SunSirs: PET Market Was Stable and Stronger (March 3-10)

According to the data monitored by SunSirs, as of March 10, the price of bottle-grade PET was stronger, with an average price of 7,506.00 RMB/ton. This week, the price of PET was narrowly stronger, up 0.35% compared with the same period last week, and the mainstream price was around 7,400 RMB/ton. The overall market negotiation center was stable.

Analysis review

This week, the domestic PET price was stable and stronger, with a slight increase in price. As of the 10th, the mainstream price was around 7,400 RMB/ton, and the downstream purchase was based on demand. The negotiation center was stable, the logistics was smooth, and the manufacturers were active in shipping. PET enterprise quotation: Shanghai Quyi Industrial Co., Ltd. 7,360 RMB/ton, Shanghai Hongqi Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. 7,700 RMB/ton, Zhejiang Wankai 7,400 RMB/ton.

Rubber and plastic commodity index: On March 9, the rubber and plastic index was 684 points, down 1 point from the previous day, down 35.47% from the highest point of 1,060 points in the cycle (2012-03-14), and up 29.55% from the lowest point of 528 points on April 6, 2020. (Note: the period refers to 2011-12-01 to now).
